About TriPollar® Technology

Radio Frequency technology (RF) has been used in medicine for over 75 years, and is known to safely and effectively heat tissue by passing an electrical current via electrodes at specific frequencies. Flowing within a closed circuit the current produces heat in each layer according to its electrical resistance.

TriPollar® technology, the most advanced 3rd generation RF solution, harnesses the inherent benefits of RF technology and overcomes the limitations of previous mono-polar and bi-polar technologies. It focuses the RF current between 3 or more electrodes and limits the energy to the treatment area only, using patented algorithms that control the polarity and activation of each electrode. As a result, variable depth penetration is possible to allow simultaneous heating of both the dermis and hypodermis (subcutaneous) layers without injuring the epidermis.Treatment of both superficial and deeper skin layers contracts collagen fibers, augments new collagen regeneration and shrinks the fat cells. The dual benefits are both immediate and long-lasting for skin tightening and circumference reduction.

Effective Collagen Regeneration

The elastic fibers of the skin, collagen and elastin are produced by fibroblasts. As they are heated, they contract and collagen strands are pulled closer resulting in immediately tightened skin. The deep heating effect, in turn, accelerates collagen regeneration over the full treatment course.

Measurable Fat Reduction

Heating the fat cells accelerates fat metabolism and causes fat cells to shrink. The rise in temperature stimulates fat cells to secrete fatty acids (liquid fat), which is disposed of via the blood and lymph system.
